Joe’s “Must Read” Blogs 2

Steven Furtick
Pastor Steven is the Lead Pastor at Elevation Church in south Charlotte. If you want an exciting read, this is the blog to check out. Started in the Spring of 2006 with just a handful of folks, Elevation Church now has in excess of 1500 in attendance and is exploding with a second campus opening on Easter weekend. This fellow is passionate about Jesus. His enthusiasm is contagious. A frequent poster. A blog I anticipate.

Daryl Strickland
Executive Pastor at Lifepoint, Daryl has a unique outlook on everything. This is what happens when you cross an engineer and a coach. Sports analogies abound and details of “how it’s done,” especially at Lifepoint, fill his site. If you want to know the heart of Lifepoint, you have to read him. Now, if we could just get him to post more often. 🙂

Dan Cort
Admittedly, the majority won’t be able to read or appreciate this blog. It is primarily written in Portuguese, though it has some English content. Dan is a Brasilian and describes himself as “a Christian, or better, a Christ follower, a musician and a web designer.” He lives in Auckland, New Zealand (a really long ways from Brasil!) and works with the music ministry at the Equippers Church Dan serves as a “magnet” for other Brasilian Christian bloggers, helping to spread the word about the cutting edge of contemporary Brasilian Christian thought.

Marketing Profs Daily Fix
There are tons of marketing blogs out there. Some of the ones I always look at are Church Marketing Sucks, Brand Autopsy and Church of the Consumer. Marketing Profs Daily Fix is probably the best of them, in my humble opinion.

Stay tuned for the final four!
