in its own time…

I sometimes get impatient.

Ok, I’m always impatient!

God seems to like to surprise me because of that impatience.

Seeds planted months ago have just recently sprouted; folks I’d written off as “not interested” in pursuing, and being pursued, by the Spirit, have popped back onto the radar (“two boogies coming in at ten o’clock…”). What I thought was going to be a “quickie,” quickly fizzled and disappeared.

I was patient for a week, then became impatient and wrote it off.

Now, here they are again. Now, they seem to be hot and ready to rock. Now its time to scramble the interceptors and engage these boogies.

Maybe I shoulda paid attention to the psalmist. Don’t gotta be patient no more…
