Dilemma

A husband is earning slightly more than $100 a month. His job is breaking big rocks into gravel using a sledgehammer and he works from 6:00 a.m. til 6:00 p.m.

He breaks his leg and can no longer swing the sledgehammer to break the rocks. He is fired because he can no longer perform the job he was hired to perform.

He has a wife and a small child. He lives in a mud shanty hut that is so dilapidated that it literally falls down around him the day after breaking his leg. The neighbors take pity on him and allow his family to sleep in their kitchen or under the overhang of the back of their homes. There is no possibility of him improving his situation for at least 6-8 weeks because of the broken leg.

His wife gets a job collecting cow manure for a fertilizer company. She works from 5:30 a.m. til 6:30 p.m. six days per week in order to earn $87 per month. Her health is beginning to fail.

They are both Christians.

What do you do?
a) Pray for them
b) Buy them some food
c) Provide some building materials so they can rebuild their shack
d) Tell them that God loves them
e) Nothing, it’s not my problem

Oh! I forgot to mention, this is not a theoretical query.
